CURRENT PUBLIC SIGNAL
What we know now
New Era is developing the multi-phase Texas Critical Data Centers campus in Ector County outside Odessa.
This is a working local record. Status reflects public announcements, filings, construction reports, and operating information available on the review date—not a guarantee that every proposed phase will be built.
State permit audit: Since September 21, 2026, TCEQ has paused data-center-related permit approvals while the ERCOT and Texas Water Development Board audits proceed. A filing, registration, or local approval does not establish that every required state authorization has been issued.
