OUR DIRECTION & STANDARDS · ADOPTED OCTOBER 4, 2026
Follow the project.
Find your opportunity.
See what your community gains.
Our purpose is to help Texas workers, residents, businesses and communities make informed decisions about data-center development.Six principles guide the work.
These principles guide new content and improvements. Some capabilities are still being developed; this page is a commitment to our direction, not a claim that every page already meets every goal.
1. Show what is confirmed
We distinguish proposals, planned capacity, power studies, contracted power, construction and operation. Material claims need dated sources. Company statements are attributed and unknowns are stated.
2. Make the information useful locally
Our direction is to connect each town’s project information with employers, training, vendors, public decisions and community partners. We will expand this depth town by town.
3. Follow promises through delivery
We separate announced commitments, reported activities and recipient-confirmed results. Outreach coverage names the place, partner, date and evidence; a promise is not a completed benefit.
4. Connect people with practical opportunities
We link to original employers, procurement sources and training providers. Career pages are starting points; applicants should confirm individual openings. Dated opportunities need clear deadlines and closed-status labels when they expire.
5. Answer community questions plainly
Water, electricity, taxes, noise, traffic and jobs deserve project-specific evidence. We welcome both enthusiasm and concern, and show where answers remain incomplete.
6. Build toward updates people can choose
City-specific, opt-in updates are part of our roadmap. We will describe subscription and alert features as available only after they are implemented and tested.
Commercial relationships stay visible.
Data Centers Texas is connected with the Chain of Honor network. COH, BaseStay and Stratigraphic services may appear on the site. Related promotions, advertising and referral offers should be labeled. Commercial relationships do not determine project status or reporting conclusions.
Corrections and follow-through.
We aim to preserve dated material changes and make corrections visible. If information is wrong, outdated or missing a source, send the page URL, the issue and supporting documentation.

What we are improving next.
We are prioritizing deeper local guides for Abilene, Haskell County and San Angelo: what is known, where people can participate, what benefits are promised or delivered, and what happens next.
